Downtown Eugene Aerial Survey

A comprehensive aerial survey of downtown Eugene conducted as part of a UAS program capstone project. The flight plan covered approximately 0.8 square miles of the downtown core, capturing high-resolution nadir and oblique imagery for orthomosaic generation.

The survey utilized a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise flying at 250 feet AGL with 75% front overlap and 65% side overlap. The resulting orthomosaic achieved a ground sample distance (GSD) of approximately 1.2 cm/pixel. Data was processed using Pix4D to generate the final ortho, DSM, and point cloud outputs.
